I know what it’s like to carry insecurity everywhere you go. To feel like no matter what you achieve, there’s still that voice in your head saying you’re not enough.
At 17, I left home to pursue a dance scholarship at the Royal Winnipeg Ballet. It was a huge opportunity — but also the start of a long battle with insecurity. After I left ballet school, a careless comment about my body cut deeper than I admitted at the time.
That moment wasn’t the cause — it was just fuel on a fire that had already been burning. For years, insecurity shaped the way I walked into rooms, the risks I avoided, and the language I used against myself.
Along the way, I explored psychology, photography, computer programming, and even high-ticket sales. Each step gave me new skills, but underneath it all I was learning how to wrestle with self-doubt, rebuild my confidence, and show up authentically. Therapy, reflection, and lived experience shaped what eventually became the Insecure to Invincible™ framework.
